Drug Policy Advocates Share the Same Goal of Wanting Fair, Equitable Cannabis Reform!

To honor this historic hearing and address the underlying concerns, drug reform advocate groups announced their formation of a new coalition, “Marijuana Justice Coalition”, which includes the ACLU, Center for American Progress, Center for Law and Social Policy, Drug Policy Alliance, Human Rights Watch, Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights, NORML, and Students for Sensible Drug Policy.
As a growing industry, the implications of cannabis reform have the potential to further the progress already made with longstanding social issues and inequalities.
