DCC Modifies Regulations for Cannabis Industry

November 2022 Changes to the DCC Regulations

The DCC just updated their regulations so I wanted to give you some of the highlights. The full updated regulations can be downloaded here.

Highlights:

  • Additional requirements for inhaled products (17303.1. ): Cannabis products intended for inhalation shall only contain cannabis, cannabis concentrate, terpenes, rolling paper, leaf, pre-roll filter tips, or ingredients permitted by the United States Food and Drug Administration as an “inactive ingredient” for inhalation
  • Retail delivery employees may now carry up to $10,000.00 worth of product in a vehicle (15418. )
  • Non-Retail license holders may now participate in licensed temporary cannabis events with certain restrictions (15603.1. )

The DCC has published guidance documents for different products – links are here:

In addition, it has become easier to provide financial documents, investor information, and to change licensing information. There are several other changes as well related to labeling, testing, light dep for outdoor cultivation, weighing plants after harvest, and distribution. If you would like to review the changes and how they may effect your business, please give us a call. We’re here to help

Thanks and stay well.
