Marin is gearing up to deliver an ordinance that will allow up to four licenses for delivery only medical cannabis services. Their doors will be closed to the public and they will be allowed to sell cannabis only through delivery. Scot Candell gave his two sense in a recent article written by the Marin IJ. Narcotics taskforce agencies seized over 400 pounds of marijuana from Arizona residents transporting marijuana from California to Arizona. California medical marijuana laws apply only to California residents, and nonresidents are not protected by the medical marijuana defense available to residents. Do not transport marijuana over state lines!
Several San Jose medical marijuana dispensaries have recieved letters from the City ordering them to close. But the catch is - the letters weren't really from the city. They are a prank. If your dispensary received a letter, verify it with code enforcement before doing anything else.
