Marin is gearing up to deliver an ordinance that will allow up to four licenses for delivery only medical cannabis services. Their doors will be closed to the public and they will be allowed to sell cannabis only through delivery. Scot Candell gave his two sense in a recent article written by the Marin IJ. That article can be found HERE .
"The county is moving forward with its medical cannabis ordinance 2.0. After the initial process for legalizing up to four medical cannabis dispensaries in the unincorporated area met stiff opposition from some neighbors earlier this year, the Board of Supervisors scrapped that plan. Now the county has issued a new draft medical cannabis ordinance that could license the operations of up to four medical cannabis delivery services."
"“There are already 30 delivery services that deliver to Marin, and there are no problems,” Candell said. “I don’t know why they’re afraid to allow as many delivery services as the market wants.”"
